The transition to adulthood in Serbia" The aim was to analyze challenges and barriers that patients and their families perceive during the transition process. Having in mind the absence of postgraduate SCD education in the region, identifying and highlighting the problems in finding oral health professional willing to treat patients with disabilities might represent the first step towards solving it.

To present current evidence and formalized process of transitioning from paediatric to adult care.
This symposium will present the formalized process to aid in transitioning , will discuss research conducted with respect to perceived barriers , how the use of this process is working in a pediatric and GP environment , as well as a case complexity form that can be used by a GP in aiding them to determine where and when a patient can be treated.
The experience of this process will also be discussed as experienced in countries like Serbia and Australia
